British-Canadian artist Lee James Abbott explores the role of relationships in our lives—the ones with our friends and family are important, but often undervalued are the ones with ourselves. Through his abstract portraiture paintings and printmaking, he explores our complicated inner monologue.

Lee moved to Vancouver from London in 2016 and is grateful to live on the unceded and traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), səlil̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ(Tsleil-Waututh) people.
