Kiss is a serigraph created during my residency at Wachiay Studio in the Comox Valley, where I worked under the mentorship of master printer Andy MacDougall. Printed on paper, the work reflects my exploration of layered imagery and texture, influenced by my deep dive into experimental techniques. During the residency, which was funded by the Canada Council’s professional development program, I expanded my understanding of print by learning to work with unconventional surfaces such as glass, wood, and foil.
